PERFORMANCE, FOR LIFE'S SAKE
Pedal Pedal Pedal is a non-profit organization intent on a developing a human-powered society by growing leaders and participants through holistic cycling programs, programs integrating education and cycling, and competitive cycling development.
We will collaborate to pass funded mandates through state and federal legislation requiring bicycle curricula in PK-12 based on physical, neurological and social health research showing cycling and outdoor play benefit developing youth.
Our programs will enhance physical education, while installing a pedagogy incorporating bicycles and bicycle games that develop: language, math, history, science, cooperation, communication, leadership, and advocacy. Educator and Leader certifications will also be developed through our scientifically informed programming.
We will continue our North American and International Junior Development Program and hold it up as the "Shiny Object" for youth to follow as one possible cycling pathway. Pedal Pedal Pedal is about building pathways that nurture and retain cyclists throughout their lives.
It is our strongest belief that quality of life shapes how we live together, and influences how well society functions. Those that can afford to contribute time, material, or wealth to our communities, must choose wisely to assure the greatest good. We feel that it is up to us to create safe places for youth to explore self-development and healthy fun in our neighborhoods and this is our contribution to the greater good - JOIN US!
